WEAR OS BY GOOGLE
Google rolled out a more opinionated and focused take on the main purpose of the smartwatch, and this overhaul has a new name to boot: Wear OS by Google. Google's official reasoning for the name change is to prepare for the diverse future of smartwatches.
"We’re now Wear OS by Google, a wearables operating system for everyone," said Google in an official statement. "We’re announcing a new name that better reflects our technology, vision, and most important of all - the people who wear our watches."
This update features an improved, cleaner interface for notifications, the Google Assistant, and the newly revamped Google Fit. It also includes a complete overhaul of the interface, which will now let you access Google Assistant by swiping right from the watch face, and having Assistant itself be more proactive.
WHAT'S IN THE KIT?

This kit includes all of the main updates in the new Wear OS, as well as some default screens, and vector app icons. You’ve got everything you need to show off your awesome new designs!
UI KIT REQUIREMENTS
You'll need Sketch 51.2 or newer and Google's Android System fonts, Roboto and Roboto Condensed. You will also need Google’s Product Sans font (aka Google Sans), which we unfortunately cannot provide for you. You can find a copy of the font relatively easily online, or you can replace it with Avenir Next, which matches it very closely and is included in MacOS.
